Oh, hey friend! Welcome to Studio 46:10 and my little corner of the Internet. And who is Nicole Burns exactly?
Well let me tell ya 10 Things Most People Don’t Know About Me:
-
I lived in England from halfway through 1st grade all the way through 2nd grade. It’s honestly one of my most cherished life memories and I reflect on it all the time. I had the wonderful opportunity to travel all over Europe, be introduced to new cultures, and make international friends.
-
I studied abroad in Madrid after my freshman year of college. I was a Spanish minor and was one class away from completing it but it interfered with my major classes so I dropped the minor. So silly.
-
In 7th grade English, we had to create a board game for extra credit. So I did. Yup — I created a full fledged board game with rules and everything. It was like my own version of Ben’s Cones of Dunshire (shoutout to my favorite show Parks and Rec).
-
I met my husband, Zach, because I corrected his deadlift form at the gym. I used to be a personal trainer so I couldn’t help it.
-
Zach proposed to me in a hot air balloon. For real. It was amazing but I was so focused on floating through the sky that I completely ignored the fact that he was proposing to me. I eventually noticed though. Oh, and it’s actually all on video, too!
-
I think olives are the grossest and most horrible food ever. Sorry, but it’s true.
-
I’ve never broken a bone or sprained anything. Here’s hoping I never do!
-
Here is a list of every career I’ve ever considered or even worked towards: artist, art teacher, astronaut, NASA mission space control, architect, doctor, archaeologist, history professor, history museum curator, art museum curator, journalist, Registered Dietitian, strength and conditioning coach, nurse, and Physician Assistant. And now I’m a calligrapher, embroidery artist, blogger & Podcaster. Who knew?
-
I can name all 50 states in under 45 seconds. Seriously. If you ever meet me, I’ll prove it.
-
I can’t sleep without my pillow. It’s like 100 years old and as flat as a board but I bring it everywhere. I shove it in my suitcase, drag it on the plane… whatever it takes to have it with me. If there was ever a fire I would probably bring my pillow with me.
And that sums me up. Well, 10 random facts about me atleast. What about you — what’s one fact that most people don’t know about you? Let me know in the comments.
One thing no one knows…there are so many. haha. ok – I got one…I used to eat baby food (when I was in my 20’s) because I couldn’t afford real food. I ate a jar at dinner and really really hoped someone would buy me lunch. As a result, if a guy asked me out to dinner, even tho I was NOT remotely interested I always said yes! No wonder I was so skinny! And, I was always finagling lunch from someone.
Haha! I had no idea — what flavor baby food is the real question…?
