Studio 46:10 was born out of my love for the art of written words.
Since a young age, I have always loved handwriting and would often change the shapes or connections of my letters depending on my mood or creativity. I attempted to learn calligraphy in 5th grade but was not easily taken to it due to the classic, gothic styles available at that time. As I aged, my love for handwriting continued, but my desire to learn calligraphy all but disappeared.
Instead, I turned to other creative outlets. Although I did not end up pursuing a career in the arts (and instead moved to a more science-focused field), my love for the arts and creativity never left me. Then not too long ago, my creative side came bursting forth in the discovery of modern calligraphy. I had no idea there was such a thing, but I became quickly addicted to the skill. I’d like to think I have taught myself a thing or two since the first moment I picked up a pointed pen.
Studio 46:10 was founded out of my love for the art of written words and my hope is that it brings others as much joy as it brings me.
Thank you for following along with me. It means so much,
